Get to know you

Our experienced advisers will need to find out more about you by completing a fact-find.  This tells us about your current situation i.e. how much you earn, the outstanding debts you may have, the type and cost of the property you would like to buy or possibly remortgage.
After assessing your current situation we will know the best way to proceed and you can then come and see your adviser face to face, or proceed by phone if that is more convenient.

He or she will then explain the different types of mortgage schemes that maybe suitable for your needs - so you can make an informed decision.
Once we fully understand your personal situation, our experts will search though the “whole of market” for mortgages and find the right one which is suitable for your needs.

Once we are happy that we have found the right mortgage for your needs, your adviser will arrange a face to face appointment, or by telephone if more convenient, so they can discuss their recommendations.

If you confirm you are happy to go ahead with the recommended mortgage we will run a credit check to confirm your eligibility with the chosen lender.  Should you pass this stage, we will proceed with your full mortgage application as a priority.
Your consultant will help and manage your application all the way to completion - whether it is a purchase or re-mortgage. We do not sub-contract the administration of your application to another company and all work is handled by your personal adviser - who will aim to produce a mortgage offer in the shortest possible time. 
We aim to keep you fully informed every step of the way and these updates include;

  • Chasing surveyors to attain an accurate valuation for the property involved
  • Liaising with the chosen lender to obtain a firm offer, letting you know if additional information is needed, or if complications arise for any reason
  • Talking with your solicitor to keep everything on track

An “agreement in principle” can be provided at no extra cost for those who wishing to establish their borrowing potential, before a property is found. This includes a mortgage certificate being issued as confirmation.
